Food guide

Postby eldoran » Sat Jul 18, 2015 1:40 pm

I was wondering if someone could do a guide for raising the biles wich is more specific than the General Food guide found here.
i mean i found out that for the first 40 biles or so autumm delight with the variable nuts is a perfect noob Food for raising the Humors, because you can easily find the ingredients and if you raise only one bar per session you only have to wait for about 15 min to continue. but after you reach a certain number the autum delight gives to less points. after that i had Trouble finding other food sources wich are easy to get and can raise my bars without gluttony timers of an hour or so.

i mean of course the Food Needs more effort at some Point but lets assume after 40 biles i am established enoug to plant things like tomatoes or so, what Food would be a easy to make and with short-ish timers to raise the stats, maybe we could collect our experience ;)

note: so what i am looking for are concrete Foods for certain Levels of Humors and not the General advices like nuts are a good Food for newbs.

As far as i know, autum delight is pretty handy for the first levels of humors

You can use Roasted Pine Nut Stuffing till you get 70-90 biles or so. It's wery easy to craft, but you have to wait to much.

You can use deviled beavers combined with other foods till 200 pretty much.
And start working on your gluttony set even if it's just argopelter beaks and gems it will help you

Frogheti - Slugs & Bugs
Autumn Delight - Nuts & Seeds
Garlic Rabbit - Game Meats

Open up your Studying tab. Mouse over Sugar & Spice and read the information that appears above your cursor.

May also want to take a look at a few recipes with the word "salad" on them, you'll understand why they are good once you exceed 40+ biles.

You can thank me when I acquire your higher scalp score ¦]

This reminds me that there is a written book in-game which you can buy for 100 silver? It's called Gluttony introductory guide and it has all late game foods...

If I understood well the feasting set, you gain free points only when you go over 10 points in 1 gluttony session right ?
So the higher your humors are, the harder it is, and the lesser important the feasting set is, right ?

Wrong, it's quite easy to make a session of 20-25 at the low biles, but once you've reached Big Biles, a bonus of an x2 increasement means saving 5-6 food-items, few F&F hours etc. It is much more satisfying to get 102->104 than 12->14, meaning you save another 103 gluttony points instead of 13 :) But yes, to actually get the bonus - gets harder.

I am around 100 humors, and I don't see how to reach 10 points in a gluttony session right now :)

Use items that do not destroy food groups (like the ones mentioned above), also I'm not eating 3-hours foods, and use restore foods, that restore food groups. Every session I reach 15-20 points, however, F&F lasts for ~12 hours.
Though, my every meal takes 1-2 hours to prepare (foraging and cooking)
