So if you feed a dead warbite cricket 3 royal jellies you get a mount, but I'm too cheap to test this out right now so I have some questions.
What happens when you get off?
Can you put it in you inventory (probably not)?
Can you get back on it? Does it ever decay or just go away?
Can you steal other peoples' if they get off?

If you get off the cricket stays in game, occasionally moving around. You can get back on it. It may despawn, like all the other wild animals, if you walk away from it. You can steal other people's crickets

So can you save it if you log out? Like log out while mounted? Or is this a type of thing you need to make each time you want to use it, assuming you log out regularly?

you may save it by keeping some alt constantly logged in around it, so that map isn't unloaded making it despawn. However, after server crash / restart it will be gone anyway

I can't seem to find a way to get off this damn cricket. I'm done with Jiminy but he won't leave. Do I have to shoot em like they did to Ol' Yeller?

FOUND: For anyone else, it's Ctrl- Left click

Wasn't it CTRL-click to get off?

Also, you can ride into houses and mines with it, so yea, if you can get through the tutorial fast and have your PC running all the time, park it in a house with an alt, but it's really not expensive enough to justify that.

And a more subtle feature: you move at max speed while mounted, no matter how encumbered you are!

Also, I sell royal jelly! 70+ or so in stock! :D
