How do you use a sawbuck?

Just setup my sawbuck and I've tried right-clicking, while holding a log, all over the structure but nothing happens. I chopped the logs from a tree I cut down near my homestead. Am I missing something?
I checked the wiki and I'm following what it says there: "To place a log on a sawbuck, lift the log and right click the structure."

right click the log you are holding on the sawbuck - take note that you cant remove it or move the sawbuck until you have used up the log.

You have to place the whole tree on the sawbuck not a wood block.

Huh?? How do I pick up the log? When I right click the log it just gives me the option to "Chop Blocks".

I know it's probably really simple but I'm not grasping the concept. :oops:

You need to use the lift action found on the adventure menu. Helps to put that action on one of the shortcut bars, you'll be using it often.
