Firearms damage incerease

Hey! Today I noticed that for example my Flintlock Pistol deals ~1DMG...
Why is it so low? How to incerease it? :O

Guns do a percent of their blood, not a fixed base damage like other weapons. Also there is some randomness to the percent of their blood it does so if you are unlucky it will do nearly no damage even to an enemy with a lot of blood.

I find it funny that punch is better for killing rabbits than a shoot from pistol.
I think that damage from firearms should be a combination of % damge and some flat damge
i.e for pistol 1 DMG + %5 of Blood
i.e for musquet 1 DMG + %25 of Blood

handgun + musket should be instant death to a rabbit and a musket shot should be instant death to a deer.

It does little damage because you are barely nicking it, if you get a direct hit it will die in one shot.

Hmm, so the wiki http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Firearms is not very precise if something dies in one shot firearm cant deal % dmg less than 100%.
