Hey all,

Are there any devices smaller than laptops which are able to run Java and thus run Salem?
I know it would be a pain to play, but at least doing some basic things while at work or etc.

What about windows tablets? Maybe they can run it?

Windows 10 on mobile devices incoming, might run java and might be able to run salem. Wether or not you will be able to successfully click anything is another thing altogether. And wether or not touch screen touches will count as mouse clicks is yet another question. Could possibly try the linux java clone thing with linux on a mobile device, but android is a bit lacking in that aspect and not sure about iOS. Windows 8 phone seems to lack java as well.

You can get full Windows 8 tablets that can run Java. If you want to go even smaller just use a remote desktop application to access your PC.

We wanted to do this and because of Java we had to go with a windows tablet. You still need a mouse though as the touch screen doesn't distinguish between left or right click. I think they are left. You can move by touch. They aren't s good as a laptop though. ..a bit slower and lay. Load times take a bit more but for relatively safe things on the claim they work well.
