Why does salem say its a security risk every time I install it, what causes it to say its not a valid application?...

Is it possible for the developers to fix this and get verified? I can only imagine it puts off other players?..

had I not said yolo and installed it on another computer I sure as hell would'nt have installed it on my main one, not a very good thing to see when one is very new and interested in a game.

also the games re downloads itself every time you open it and you have to create a .bat file as workaround.

Salem is safe to play. However if someone offers you a custom client not on the forums you should stay away from it.

Last I knew we had a valid java security certificate. Another thing for John's todo list.

Probably it was valid only for a year?

I'm trying to find the certificate on Windows/Firefox, and I'm not finding it. The error I'm seeing when I connect via SSL is that it may likely be one of the intermediary certs that is failing to load, which could indicate other problems. Usually if a certificate is expired, it has a specific error message saying such if I recall right.

Yes, it's been a whole year already and the certificate expired; John just has to renew it. Salem is perfectly safe.

We did renew it but the new Keys were not uploaded yet. we will refresh the keys shortly to eliminate the popup.
