Thornbushes dead?

Postby Shadeen » Thu Jul 09, 2015 2:09 pm

Before the Popham patch, I had uprooted about 10 thornbushes and placed them inside my claim, but ever since the patch I don't get the option to pick their thorns, ever. Thornbushes in the wild seem to be fine. Are thornbushes not supposed to be on claimed land?

Thank you!

Do you think I should report it to the bugs section? Was there anything about this in the patch notes? I did search, but I could not find anything related to this issue.

Likely respawning thorns linked to decay ticks, which possibly don't happen on claims? I remember similar issues when trees got a bit changed.

Does this mean the same will happen with bark with trees inside a claim?

It should not be lack of decay ticks causing that. A lot of things on claims take random ticks to do things, like your tree cuttings. It must be something else... might want to report this a a bug.

They surely don't have an accurate one-for-all timer. But I've gotten 1 flower from a thornbush on a Vclaim recently.

Thank you! I haven't been able to pick any thorns ever since the Popham patch...

Was that a thorn bush you grew from a flower pot, and planted in your claim, or was it found in the wild, uprooted and carried there? I'm only asking to try and see if there's any difference in the way they behave.

It was a bush that was uprooted and carried onto the claim before the patch.
