Attune Key to an alt

How do i attune a key to one of my alts (as a reserve). As far as i understand the person i want to attune the key to has to be logged in and present but i cannt log in twice?!

Make another account for alts.
P.S. And be sure to get the into bed, not just log out.

lift up something and force logg off, after taht login on another char on same account and attune key

Just close the client when the alt is active and logon as your main - the logoff timer will keep the alt online long enough for you to attune the key to him/her.
