sled in tutorial area seems bugged?

so im in the starting tutorial area, i made a sled here that i wanted to pic up and bring with me but after building it im not able to pic it up or pull it in any way? is this a known bugg or is it intended?

It's so users dont decide to exploit the tutorial. You are supposed to do the tasks and leave

yeah I made it all the way to my town bell got all the mats in it and forgot I couldn't buy a charter

... are you not aware that all progress in the tutorial is deleted when you log out ?
Why would you want to build a town bell there ?
