It's been about a year or so since I last logged in... I just re-downloaded client and logged in and it says create new character and isn't showing my old one.. When just logged into the forums it showed my old character with headdress which is how I left it, refreshed and now its gone to?? Just thinking of those looooong hours grinding, leveling land etc... not to mention the hundreds of dollars I coughed up... oh this makes me a little disappointed. Its one thing to be killed or to delete it myself.. but to come back and its not where I left it is very upsetting. Makes me a little reluctant to start another Character.


EDIT: Thanks for the responses! Seems it's gone now and not much else I can really do about it. The server I used to play on isn't even on the list anymore. I will just start another one and give it a go. The question remains...Will this one be wiped as well a year into gameplay???

There are realyy lots of changes, so just start a new char. It will be interesting to play!

Which server you used to play, about 16 months ago we've had a reset of the whole world.

This, the grind got reduced alot more
But you problably played before providence got created, this was when MM bought salem

Actually Jorb and Loftar started providence, and only several months after that did MM take over But yeah Provi happened in january of last year, so any char before that is now long gone.

Answering to your edit. No, The plan is that Providence will never be wiped, Salem will have temporary hardcore servers instead called expeditions, players playing in expeditions will be rewarded in providence, if you play on Popham you can bring your domestic animals to Providence, for example, Expeditions will last around 3-4 months until a third circle witch manages to pray on all the statues of the server
