Ok, so I study often, took my lil horn on a timer. So far this has worked for me and a friend villager. However, today he tells me on no I got madness 1. Meanwhile he'd been rolling dough (somthing we usually have someone else doing, potting plants.I take him some tobacco, of course its not enough, 4 puffs and he's still at 1. I say well, we got lots incoming so just use your teddy for now. Meanwhile, I'm studying, blowing my horn on timer que. I'm in process of postting the plants he can't due to madness (we refuse to destroy our shop items over madness). I gain a madness level midway!
Something changed? cause we were both actually doing MORE than usual to lower insanity when we gained the first madness level since the beginning.
Don't give me that study something every few minutes, we were doing that already and no, we did not forget.

You should read the patch carefully again

Some of the stuff you do raise your insanity a bit :p by doing more you're adding insanity.
But I dunno about your case, maybe the devs can take a look.

Maybe it's a confusion about counting from 1 and counting from 0? If you hover over your humors (on Kand's client, at least), it starts counting from 0. If you use the number to the right of the masks it starts counting from 1.

The new system of INSANITY it's just a new way to force you to buy silver to buy tobaco. I think it's a bad strategy, you can do more interesting things to achieve profits with a game.
The new system of insanity has put me off playing, because all that you do increase madness, it's crazy.

Sigh, yes I agree it's hard, but don't assume things like that, it makes me irritated, probably everyone who read it too, because your reasoning is just plain wrong. Teddy bear? Hookah? Picking flowers? Chasing butterflies? Before you try everything, don't assume, or state your wrongly concluded opinion.

I have to agree.
I have always been favoring a transitional learning curve, giving noobs their babysitting needs and eventually strip them away, one by one. You know, like how ISIS recruits faithful Christians.

Funny because it was stated several times that shop items won't destroy because no items destroy in their category...
