This is not the game breaking defense you think it is.

Well, you can't lift a bed with a person in it, nor can you destroy it if your stuck inside it. Going through the door with a bed on the other side will place you inside it. Then you get stuck, with no way out, until the person logs in or you KO from bile drain.

Huehue, I found a group of people that thought putting a bed in front ofa gate on unclaimed land was a solid defense.. They logged on without beds and a lot of items missing.

Correct. Even while sleeping in it, you'll just wake up like you logged off in that spot.

But you can't destroy an object your inside. Refer to that guy who got stuck inside a stockbin in his mine. So, if you walk in someones door and spawn inside their bed, your stuck. I think.

You can destroy a bed while someone is sleeping in it, ive done it.
