Newbie questions

Is there any way to not get interrupted by monsters? Can't stomp these damn crickets... Just spent 20 yellow bile just to kill 1.

Easy way to transport items? I have a leanto with dozens of boxes and stuff, but it's at a terrible location. How do thieves find new victims? Do they walk a lot or there's a faster way to travel with items?

Salem is non target fightng system so you have to calculate distants from you and the mob if you use stomp + the best way is to use hellberd .
about the thief's ussely they run on horse and loot everything they can have , best way to avoid is to have good defence a wall + some torchpost will prevent low biles thiefs from stealing your goods.

Crickets aren't the only one pulling that move. I find turkeys considerably irritating and your best bet is to usually aggro it with a stomp then make some distance, when it approaches you, pull another stomp and that should do the trick. Repeat if it does not die on first hit.

Thieves can buy horse and utilize it as a source of transportation alongside canoes and rarely, boats and pretty much go on a loot fest. But most end players wouldn't loot new players/middle leveled players (unless they smell something vaulable), as the items are useless to them. Just pull up a few torchposts and you're fine.

Hmm thanks, what the unattended in the horse description means? Do it dissapear after some time?

Horses despawn or get taken by others if you leave it strolling about.
