I played a bit when the game was in beta, like 2 years ago (At least) and came back after recieving an email...

So what can I do with Dried Timber Rattler Skin ? I remember being able to craft purses and clothes with it, the wiki says you only need small game hunting (wich I have) but I still dont have the options...

And when you die, do half your stuff goes in oblivion ? A cougar jumped me in my leanto, killed me again on rez... It seems I am missing a lot of items I had in my inventory...

You can sell the dried timber rattler skins you find in the wild for a small amount of silver.

When you get KOd, it depends on how fast you get to your items before they despawn and what type of items you had, for example a worm. Worms don't have a 3D model and will not get one anytime soon. Some items despawn faster than others.

So selling is the only option left for the dried skins ? No more crafting options ?

Also, is it wise to advertise some stuff I'd have to sell in the main town ? Back then you couldnt be murdered in there, but it seems now you can, so what prevents people from just killing me instead of trading ? How much woud a salamander go for ?

You can make a coat and a purse from snake skin I think.

Coat, purse, shoes, and belt.

EDIT : Yeah turns out you need hideworking too I can craft'em too now
