I have looked through the forum on how to move these things. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I can't move them. Please instruct me o on the proper technique on what to do?

Why would you want to get rid of your prized possession?

I just want to move them around in my inventory or possibly into storage. But enlighten me, what are they good for?

To get rid of the ring you just need to hold shift and down scroll it into another storage. You acquire the ring from going insane and after a while it will begin dropping items from your inventory I believe.

How do I scroll? I don't know how to do that.

Scroll with the scroll wheel on your mouse

I have tried putting my pointer over the ring, holding down shift and turning the scroll wheel on my mouse. Nothing happens. So, what am I doing wrong?

I think this scroll thingy is a feature of Latikai's client; I'm more used to just simply shift+left clicking stuff to move them over to containers.

If you're using a custom client just use shift + click while you have a box open.
