Greeting all Pilgrim, I'm quite new in this game and yesterday I just unlock a skill called "Pockets" and the skill description said "Pockets not only increase inventory space but also still allow fast-travel while full." So I assume after I get this skill and have at lease one pocket full I can fast traveling even I exceed my weight limit (red number weight), is that true? I wonder this skill worth to invest or not.

Basically if you put something in your pocket you can travel with it.
If you don't have a pocket you cannot port to your homestead or Providence with something in your inventory/backpack, unless you are near your leanto.

Pockets count the same as equipped items in this regard. No, you cannot fast travel while your are encumbered (weight is over limit and in the red) but it will let you still travel with whatever items are in your pockets. If you are out and about and need to port home off claim you normally need to dump your inventory/backpack inventory and then it'll let you. With pockets you can store an item in each pocket and be able to port with them. It also cuts the weight of items in the pocket.

Thanks a lot, so it's seem to be work as 1 slot back pack then. *Sigh*

A one slot backpack that isn't emptied on being knocked out and allows you to port home without dumping whatever is in it. It has its uses.
