Lost Everything

Maybe this is me being new, or something, but I had been gone on vacation for a week, only to come back to nothing in my inventory, no clothes , my claim stake is gone...
Did something happen? or did someone just do something nasty to me while i was away?

Was your claim stone upkeep paid?
If you fill it with silver, it stays on for 2 months, but if a claim stone has no upkeep it can be destroyed with a waste crime.
They have to break through your defenses tho, which means you problably didn't build braziers or torchposts...

Also yeah, if someone destroys your homesteaded claimstone you drop all your clothes and inventory.

I dont know what you mean by filled with silver? I have silver in the bank in Providence if thats what you mean?

Claims have silver upkeep. Left click silver/purse then right click claim stone to add silver to it. You can see current ammount of silver if you right click the claim stone.

Well that wont work now that i have no purse, and apparently i cannot log out or travel to providence to get anything, only thing i could do is right click on the leanto and set as my homestead, but now it appears as though I am stuck. Very odd.

If you don't have either a leanto or claimstone set to be your homestead, your items don't logout. I am not sure how it works exactly, but you lose your inventory if you have no homestead. It is meant to stop alt vaulting. That's when you make alt character just to hold stuff and log out, thus taking it out of the game word, completely safe....this is not conducive to make you build defenses.

I had a claim, but I must not have done the right click thing on the claim to do the upkeep. Thus, losing everything because someone stole it and moved stuff around.
This game is virtually impossible to do alone.
So , if anyone is out there looking to start a town, i'm into that!
I like trading, gardening, farming, and hunting/fishing.
I would like to start getting into mining and stuff, but its hard to do when you're only one charachter.
