i have the madness and was hoping there is a cheap easy way to get cured new member to the game hoping not to loose everything so was wondering if someone can help me only have 90 silver to my name, also can't afford the material for a teddy bear and can not afford tobacco either, wondering if someone would be so kind as to help me much appreciative sincerely halie85

the only way to lower madness for you would be buying tobacco and tobacco is hard to farm so it's kind of expensive even from players, even then tobacco won't lower your madness 100% everytime, there is only 3 methods to lower madness levels. Tobacco, 200+ affluence set for hookah, and teddy bear, but once you have affluence set and teddy bear you can forget about madness completly, it's not balanced.

You may spend 30 minutes to 1 hour and gather more than enough silver in indian feathers and savage charms than a teddy bear or tobacco would cost you.

it is balanced for those who learn to trade for the goods they need. It is not balanced for those who do not.
