I have yet to see any new world gourds and I've spent several hours exploring Autumnal boimes. Am I missing a skill? do they only spawn in logs or stumps in said biome? Are they extremely rare? Someone please tell me I just want to get some green bell peppers along with the S&C they provide...

If you want green bell peppers, I'd advise just buying them from another player. Gourds have been made very rare.

Will increasing any subset of skills allow me to find them more often? How much are they bought/sold for?

Honestly, if you only need the potables from the gourd, you're better off just buying them. You can easily buy all the things you need (Both bellpeppers and some pumpkin seeds) for less than the price of one gourd. If you still want to find one, just persevere and make sure the foraging movement is turned on, I guess. You'll find it eventually, although it's pretty difficult right now.

No, and they are pretty expensive.
Just buy the peppers they're like 5s each, a hundred times less expensive than gourds.

I strongly feel they have been nerfed into extinction.

Since the patch i have not seen a single groud or singing log. My 2 main zones i like to roam are also conifer and autumn forests, and i have spent at least 10+ hours in these biomes. 1+ hour was spent in forage mode as well when looking for 7 use insps, and i have yet to find a single one of these since the patch.

It is not just me either, village members have yet to find grouds or singing logs in the wilds and one of them is a keen forager. Im sure he said that foraging 7 use insps has gone from about 100~150 > 400-500+ items required being picked to find a 7 use.

You need to be in forage mode and get lucky. They are still out there but alot more rare.

No way singing logs are rare mate you find them in logs mostly my camp has like 20 of them I kid you not I have stopped picking them up.

Those logs are probably legacy from before, once theyre gone could be rare as gourd

I can not express what a horrible idea that is.
See you in a couple of months when you're paying 500s per log and cursing that you didnt take every single one of them.
