If I'm not mistaken, they are very common in this biome:
http://www.salem-wiki.com/mediawiki/ind ... e=Woodland . I wanted to add this info into to the wiki, but I'm not sure if there are any other biomes where it is most common.

Gourds are balanced to be quite rare now. But they are still in game.

Lobster mushrooms are still ingame. I found one just five minutes ago. From my experience, they are relatively common in the Crag biome (
http://www.salem-wiki.com/mediawiki/ind ... title=Crag), but I haven't seen them in any other biome yet.

Crag is indeed the biome you want. I see loads of them in that biome with at the very least wander on if not forage.

If you're having trouble locating a crag biome near you then take note there's plenty of them near Providence; aside from the hilly area right next to providence you can go south and find a crag biome right across the river. Just take a stroll down there each time you got business in Providence and you're sure to find a lobster mushroom sooner or later.
