Weaving, optimal value?

What would be the optimal + weaving?
Is it possible to get one cloth for cotton if you have high enough weaving? Or is there a point where you won't get a better success rate?

Theres nothing like that probably, i assume there is % chance to use or not a cotton, so when making cloth it rolls 10 times (onetime per cotton) and check if its used or not.
Taking that its probably more = better option

I don't think it's possible to get 1 cloth for 1 cotton. I've used a 600+ set and the least I've gotten is 3 or 4 cotton per cloth with an average around 5-6 or so. It's definitely random chance of maybe 4-8 cotton per cloth. I'd say max weaving right now with the artifacts we have is probably around 800-900 and that's using 'spider egg sacs' and 'needles' which nobody's going to do.

i don't have weaving on my clothes just productivity (not much) but it takes me only 9 cotton to make a cloth.
maybe it stacks

I have a 678+108 = 786 weaving set. I think that you could get maybe 100 more without using needles or spider egg sacs: I used a few gems in spots where I should have used lacy edging and I used things like fisherman's boots+lace instead of adventurer's boots+lace.

With this set I just wove 545 cotton puffs into 84 cloth with 6 puffs leftover, for an average of 6.4 puffs per cloth.
