How long since you previously logged in? If you recently crashed or quit the client, and then tried to log back in, then it sometimes happens that the character didn't get logged out properly. Happened to me twice with Salem, and several other times in other MMO games. Each time I had to wait up to 5 minutes before I could log back in.

About 35 minutes, I've managed to change my password, but my password was changed again, and they are still on my account. I used an old computer that still had Mabinogi installed, and it might have been from that since my friends say this guy is just running in circles and moving random containers

I would suggest changing the password to the email you used to register, then, after restarting in safe mode and scanning for dem keyloggers. And after that change the password again.

This definitively sounds like something the admins should look into asap then. Best of luck getting the situation sorted.

Keep in mind that if this was a case of friends sharing an account and having an argument, **** will thoroughly hit the fan for you <.< so if that's the case I'd suggest you try to solve this in a civil manner amongst yourselves and vanish off the forums xD if it's legitimately a security breach on an account you've never shared before, I agree with ShadowTani that hopefully an admin will wake up soon and sort this out as I'm not sure what their policy is when it comes to restoring stuff you lost due to a security leak :\

Imma be honest, I'd rather get banned for a day or two, but I wouldn't doubt this computer is infected. I'm running a virus scan now, and so far all I have is a tracking cookie. I'll head to sleep and talk it over with my friends (even though I don't give my friends my passwords, they are admittedly easy to guess). Thanks for the suggestions, and maybe we can sort something out.

How do you know the password was changed back by someone else? Is this the same account you are posting on now?

Good point, I could have just forgotten the new password I made, but I did change it to an easy-to-remember password again. I'm just gonna write down a bunch of numbers and change it to that. I'm using my desktop right now, so I hope this one isn't infected too, and I'll just try to re-change it again.

I have yet to log off of the forum account in fear that as soon as I log out, whoever has my account will be able to get on, so I hope that if I create a new email and password for it that I won't get it infected (yes, the virus scan picked up spyware) and this whole thing can get sorted out, but the biggest issue is that whoever is on my account is STILL on my account, and has yet to log off. He seems to be interested in curing my friend's trading alt of his Plague, so he must know about the game somehow. I'm not even sure how I'm awake to type this... or how this guy is this patient to not get bored on this account.
