What is a good guide for salem at the moment specifically a combat guide that goes in depth. ps. how do you use shields?

There are no shields in Salem. As for combat I don't know if there is a specific guide for it but it's pretty straightforward. For PvP someone wrote a guide that you easily have access to with a quick search on the forums.
