I planted a fruit tree as soon as they were out. I have had buttreflies and bees all aorund it all the time, but the tree's purity is stuck at 0% and it has never born fruit. is that normal?

The tree will always be at 0% - only the fruit is raised. I have even planted 3% trees in high humus and pots and it still gave me 0% trees. The fruit from these second gen trees were 3% but the fruit from the first gen trees (which had been 3% last everbloom) are now 7%. Keep the hives higher then the trees and you will keep seeing the fruit rise in purity every year. As for when they bloom and fruit - pure luck, seems to happen any time during the course of the season and by the time the season has ended it looked like i had about 50% of my of my trees fruit.

Yes, all of my skeps are of at least 13% purity.

That makes sense! Thank you, I was expecting my tree branches to reflect their purity, hadn't figured out that it only affects the fruit's purity.
