Is this true?
I thought the disease would go away naturally when it hit the max bar, but according to wiki you'll permanently die. Mine is at max now, and draining biles (permanently??).

Do I need to log on an alt to cure it, or can I let it KO me?

you will die - permanently. Didnt you think it odd that your symptoms were getting worse?

You might want to make some meds on a alt and see if you can save you character.

U need to cure yourself. If u ko with a full bar you are dead

Working on the meds now. I think I need Smelling salts, but I can't crush the antlers in a grindstone. They won't go in the grindstone. (Its not my grindstone, is that it..?)

U need craft the salts i believe

I do have Small Game Hunting, but its not showing up as a craftable option...

If u cant i can help u out of that's what's making u sick. I would make sure what u have since the bar is full. Each time its wrong u need to use more of th3 the right cure

My character gets stunned a bunch, and leans backward a bit. No coughing/vomiting. I tried two leeches a while ago, they didn't work.
