my first ever character got a disease and is slowly dying... :( i was wondering how to identify the disease, the best methods to get a cure, or, worst case scenario, how inheritance works... :)

Sky_Cardis's way of curring diseases is wasteful and inefficient. If you are using the correct cure there is around a 50% chance of being cured for each dose you take, but every time you take the wrong cure it reduces the chance of the right one working, down to around 10%, so its best too actually figure out what the right cure is and just use a few does of it.

Did you perhaps managed to miss like the half of the video describing different diseases and explaining how to identify them and then treat them?

No, I was not saying that that part was wrong, did you miss the part where he talks about his way of curing diseases?
Here let me help you out, maybe you just zone out by the time he gets around to describing his way of just spamming all the cures:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsxHu-y ... page#t=305
This is a very inefficient way of curing diseases.

Oh, ok. Thought you questioned the video as a whole, but now I see I was wrong. Sorry

I vote someone sticky this topic, not so much for the link to the diseases video, but as an example of how to discuss/debate an issue with someone in a civil manner and humbly accept defeat should it be clearly pointed out :D Cookie points to Procne and DarkNacht.
