Silver veins

Can i find silver veins at any level? Been digging around alot in level 1, but not finding any, so thought perhaps i have to be at a certain level?

You find them at all levels but they're rare and small so it's quite difficult to find them

The green/light blue is silver. This is a full map of a random 1 level of a mine, and probably the only one.

Not hard to find if you do straight line strip mining.
