When a stake claim expires does it still require you to trespass to walk on it? And do things decay?

What about town claims?

No they do not decay. They still require you to trespass and waste to loot it.

Well that raises a few questions on claims I've seen. And by decay I meant the structures within, not the claimstone itself.

So there's no real way to identify unpaid stake claims?
Is it when a town bell is destroyed that you can then freely walk on a town claim?

Yes. It is to defend players who need long break.

The only real difference should be that you can destroy the authority objects (claim stone, border stones, border flags, town bell) Braziers will still fire, you will still leave crimes, if you KO you still have to sit depending on the amount of crimes.

Don't think you shouldnt pay your claimstone though!

A 20 bile alt can walk onto your claim and break your claimstone if its unpaid, and leave like 2 scents doing so, and then he can take all your **** without leaving any scents :P

So keep your claimstone paid, and atleast build a splitrail fence and torchpost on it if you want any protection ;)
