Do fields decay?

Do fields decay nowdays in case they are located on unclaimed area?

they never have - and for that matter fields are not subject to normal decay mechanics. They require the use of salt to first lower their purity, after which salt can be used to destroy them.

both of those were fixed probably like two years ago.
The 1x1 field fix is still available somewhere if you have issues rendering giant cotton farms :)

nvr4get the 1x1 mine fields :(

actually, both were patched under jorbtar's regime, early open beta.

fields in mines were gone on first server (plymouth)
overlapping was patched a bit after
