feeding the stupid nubs

How the ***** do you feed this stupid thing? the game says just to feed him but nothing happens when I do anything I have wasted many nuts dragging them and dropping them. Nothing happens when I right click.
is this game buggy?

Right click on him with a nut in your hand like it told you to do.

Hey smartass I guess the game also tells you how to gluttony things too huh.

Hi,
I have the same problem, other way. There is just one nub in the village and it is standing behind a tree, so I just see the name under the tree, but not the nub itself. With right clicking (of course with nut in hand) there happens nothing, I think as it counts the click as right click on the tree, not on the nub. Is there a trick to make the nub visible, or turn the view?

You have to rotate your camera. I think it's middle mouse button / mouse wheel.
off topic: I think we need homeworld style camera rotation (called laptop mode in latikai's client). Left + right mouse buttons to rotate

I never got the 'help' box to open the inventory, or to left click the item, or to right click the nub. Figuring out how to get the hickory nuts with the help box, yes. How to feed the nub, no.
So, if someone could pass along that the quest is not always giving the info, that would be better than insulting someone for something out of their control.
On the other hand, thank you for posting the screenshot of the help box that I didn't get, so I could continue playing.
