No soak on claim if it's yours. Just take a lot of food if you're low on biles.
Have 1000 hp, soak 90.

also, for the record, soak is not the level of phlegm you start to damage it but the amount of damage that is hardsubtracted from the damage you do.
i.e. 15 soak needs 22.5 phlegm (old stone hedge), while 30 soak needs 90 phlegm (about the new stone hedge,not entirely sure).
A good way to know whether you are damaging is to simply start destroying. If you can actually damage the wall it should tick to 1% relatively fast (within a few swings, in my experience). If you can't damage it at all, it'll stay at 0 forever.
