Soo far I've tried all four medicenes in attempts to cure the disease I've gotten from Providence, but to no avail. Any particular reason for this?

Its all very random if you will be cured first time or twentith time of the correct cure. In Providence the most common sicknesses are cured via the leech (because people are ***** and want to get others to buy leechs from their store) and more recently the one cured via the willowbark tonic (because it takes more time to make then the others. See the afore mentioned '*****' remark)

Keep trying, and then waiting a few min after each dose - it sometimes takes a little bit for the cure to become active.

This is the most frustrating part of the whole disease thing to me.

Anything less and you may just take one of each cure and be done with it.

i just took 2 leeches, 15 smelling salts 7 attemps of willowbark and 6 columbines and im still infected....

how does one "take" 2 leeches?

edit: again 10 smelling salts no effect.

Why don't you just wait to see the symptoms so you know with some certainty which one is right?

becaue u should only have to use 1 medicine anyway and i took around 50 yet wich is absurd and makes no sense to sometimes only have a cure after using 30 of each medicine.

The mechanic is not designed for just wild treating of diseases you may or may not have.

If anything you are making me want to change it so if you do the wrong cure more than 20 times you just die.
