The wiki says that masonry is the required skill, but I just got it and still can't build the well!
Does anyone have any idea what the current requirements for well building are?

I believe prospecting may also be required, virtue of the fact that you need prospecting to find one (but it may be that the skill is not actually required to be able to BUILD a well - unsure)

Yeah, that's it thanks. Just got prospecting and can now build wells.
