So, I'm fairly new and I've managed to get along pretty fine... but I apparently was raided and that's understandable.. However, my inventory is missing some things and I'm not sure how that happens... I logged on today and I'm missing a saber and my purse. How did that happen?

Mate i'm not trying to call you out on who to preach lessons to, but weren't you the one who almost quit because someone put a town bell over your claim until belgear went to destroy it?

Yes, indeed you are calling me out, but meh. Perhaps you should re-read the thread. I said I might take some time off to re-evaluate Salem, ie a learning experience, albeit a hard one that I would need time to digest. That's a lot different than quitting. Lallaith and Belgear, et al. took a lesson that would probably take me a couple of weeks to sort out to one that I could start dealing with right away.

Someone did that to me, too! Placed a large claim on top of my alt's leanto, so he can't do anything now... just to stop me from quarrying lime! How do you counter this, as a newb? Or would you have to send someone to destroy the town bell?

You are probably talking about a P-Claim, which is smaller and cheaper than a town bell. There isn't anything you can do really, but move on to a safer place.
