Are quarries like lime, depletable? Do they get replenished?

Technically no and no.

Eventually you will reach a point where you can't get more from the quarry without lowering the level of the surrounding land first, and eventually it'll become so much work to dig up the surrounding land that it's not worth it.

Technically, yes, it is possible to deplete a quarry. There's a minimum value to the height value you can reach. (or a maximum depth you can dig if it helps you read it better)

Guessing won't help here...

It's actually a pretty small number relatively. Jorb mentioned it on IRC one time early on in testing, but that was a good 8 months or more ago. I want to say it's under 1000 for sure, possibly under 500, but I'm not so sure about that.

Well then...I'll need a team of volunteers who like to dig so we can get to the bottom of this. Pun intended. Also a ton of food.

EDIT: I suppose we could ask jorb again...but where's the fun in that?
