Has anyone found a way to drain the leech that doesn't result in losing the leech?

Is this intended, or is this something that will be fixed?

It is intended that you cannot cut open a leech and remove its blood without killing it, yes.

It should indeed over time drain itself by just sitting there, altough that should take ages to happen as leeches digest blood very quickly, so implementing leeches digesting blood over time would be a nice thing. Also swimming in some lakes should have a chance of putting leeches on you ¦]

Ah good find Xsari. It seems I could let the leech drain out once every 6 months ¦]

Yep, that way after six months of leech foraging i'll never need to forage for leeches again!
