Hello, what are the pros and cons of towns and personal claims?

Also is it true that structures do not have soak values on pclaims?

Personal claims are cheaper, can be customized in size, allow the owner to port from anywhere in the bounds, and have better permissions management.

They can be raided immediately and if they are small can be eminent domained by someone putting town bell over them, however that is rarely done unless the pclaim looks very rich.


Towns need 24 notice to raid and can have many players living in them each with their own pclaim.

Towns are more expensive, have more set sizes, are more difficult to manage permissions on, and can't be set as homestead. People can also trespass freely onto a town so you almost always have to have both town and pcliam if you decide you want a town.

Pclaim also gives crime debuff
