Ive been walking around the darkness for about a week now and every hollow log and stump has nothing. They don't spawn any thing there?

Logs and stumps spawn stuff either when they're loaded or during decay ticks that happen when they're loaded, not sure exactly how it works but it does take activity in the area for the area's stumps/logs to spawn stuff. Darkness ones spawn stuff just fine though.
