Healing food

Postby Scilly_guy » Mon Nov 03, 2014 7:57 pm

There was an old thread on this subject but it was out of date due to all the changes recently so I thought it would be less confusing to start a new thread.

What foods do people find are the best for regen food?
I find I am still relying on frikadels which are kind of getting boring to make. I know jerky is quite a good food too, but as that relies on chance its hard to mass produce. Bottom feeder bajgiels are great for YB and Berry bajgiels for phlegm, baguettes do give good BB but seem quite expensive, having to forage for the salt starts to take up time and then the 2kg of barley!!! Fried oysters are much easier to get in bulk. For blood I seem to steer towards pumpkin sandwiches, its just a shame they don't have a few more bites.

Just wondered what your thoughts were.

Make meat pies with pure meat and slice them.

Turkeys have no other use, generate, inspirationals and give decent phlegm regen.

Roast fish is quite an easy one to mass produce too but needs a lot of storage.

crumbs, pies, adventurer's trailmixes as I still have plenty of walnuts from a certain pie event.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

I like Pies when I'm working around my base as they take up too much room for traveling. For travel food, I like the Boiled Gourd when I can find them. Also, ordinary Trailmix is so easy to make, it makes a great emergency food if I am out and about and suddenly run out of food.

If course, I haven't put much effort into exploring the bigger regen foods, I might give Baguettes a try; I have so much Barley lying around and I always run out of BB first.
