Slots, Clothing, and my Sanity!

So I think I grasp the slotting concept with regard to difficulty. Before I thought it was solely proficiency-based, but now I've found out that the difficulty level is dependent upon the clothing? Is this true?

Anyhow, I would like to be able to create clothing that can be slotted with relative ease (even though my chances are hovering between 69 and 74, I only seem to have success 1/7th of the time).

How do I go about accomplishing this goal of easy slottation. :)

increasing your thread and needle will lower the difficulty on the clothes you make. The maximum difficulty is 25 (worst), the lowest is 0 (best).

Is it easier to make low-level clothes with lower difficulty or they are the same, just the difference in skills needed?

All clothes are affected the same way by your thread & needle when getting crafted, I believe.

Its something along the lines of chances of slotting an item is dependent on the artifact + your proficiency - the difficulty of the clothing. ill take lace as an example, for me because my thread is so high im at the lowest end for slotting it (40 to 0) ive capped it at 0% chance failure, and now its 100% chance- difficulty of clothes = my chance
