Flattening problem

Hey everyone,

I am wondering if it is possible (in theory) to flat any cliff...
I kinda thought it is (or at least should be ^^) possible but anyway I am struggling at this one:

Image

I can't higher the lowest point because of the cliffs left and right, neither i can make those cliffs dissappear because of some points close to them are too high.
But i cannot lower thos high spots because of the high part of it... I can't higher the highes part because I can't stand there and can't make me stand there
because I cannot add anymore dirt because of the lowest point...

It seems like: I can't higher the lowest point because of the highes point and vice versa :O

Would appreciate any suggestions ^^

Dig down 5-6 tiles away from the lowest point, dig a slope down until the lowest point becomes walkable, and open it up to have access to one of the tiles that touch that low vertex. Then rise it up, make a ramp up to the highest point until that's walkable and start digging down from the top.

The lowest point won't become walkable unless I can make one of those cliffs dissappear because it's too slim i think?

It'll become walkable from the left side just fine, the vertexes on the left and bottom side of the lowest one aren't connected to the highest cliff vertex, so you should be fine digging left of both those points to make it into a slope rather than a tight passage.

Hmm yeah, but it is indirectly connected to it,
its connected to a tile that is connected to the highest cliff and that tile is already too high.

So I can't lower the bottom cliff anymore :/

I try to show what my exact problem is:

Image

pink arrows points to the reason I can't lower a point, while that weird kinda blue arrows points to the reason I can't higher a point.

This way I don't see any possibility to make a ramp. Edit: Because all adjacent nodes to a cliff are unchangable

I just tried that, but i con't see a point in digging at that point and i can't make a pile at that point because it's too steep (those arrows should show that)

then drop dirt around the "its to steep" location and build up. like a pyramid, broad base!

I can't... it's a deadlock... at the too steep location i can't drop dirt because its too steep as well and so on until we reach the lowest point between both cliffs...
So to build such a pyramid i would have to drop dirt at the spot between 2 cliffs which isn't possible...
But i can't dig down to that lowest spot either because to do that i gotta lower the highest spot first, which istn't possible because i gotta higher the lowest spot first, which isn't possible because i gotta lower the highest spot first, and so on ;)

Edit: look at those arrows, they should make it understandable, I can't make a ramp at any point of the cliffs

Edith's edit: So it doesn't matter what i do with the surrounding tiles because it doesn't change the fact that I cannot change any cliff incident edges.
