Logged on this morning and my house has vanished anyone have any idea why this would happen? its a farmers house the entrance is on claim but the rest if off claim?

Somebody could have possibly destroyed it.
If he did he must have left scents, to see if there are any, Toggle Tracking [Adventure -> Toggle Tracking].
Scents might not be visible the first time you toggle the tracking so try reentering the area few times.

no scents at all have tried tracking a number of times around the area

if they attacked the house section that was off the claim it wouldn't leave a scent?

why was only some of the house on a claim?

How long ago was your last login before that one?

This almost happened to me as well 5 days into the start of this beta phase. I did the same as you and only covered the front part/door of my farmhouse with my claim, a few days later I noticed my farmhouse was changing to a redder tint. So I decided to test repair and lo a behold my farmhouse was actually at 2% hp. I'm guessing if the house isn't completely in the claim the decay still ticks on it. Not 100% sure.

thtas it then i did notice it was redder then when i first built it :/ shame i had finally managed to get a stove in there after 100's of tries lol

The center of the house has to be on the claim for it to be considered "claimed" I believe. Without claim protection houses decay.
