Bear Hitbox and Roundhouse Kick

Tried squeezing in a roundhouse after thrust just for the sake of extra damage while fighting bears. So far not a single one at point blank range has landed. This would be while colliding to the face of the bear, haven't tried from the sides. Is this intended? Didn't want to post it as a bug just yet, but it seems silly.

Yes the ranges don't quite accommodate hitting the center of the bear. Its on our list to fix.

Animals have a similar issue, they will just bump into the bear without doing anything. (Except for the deer which will often go berzerk with charge-attacks.)
I've always assumed it was intended to avoid bears dieing to snakes.

I actually think other animals just don't have big game hunting Otherwise it's too easy to kill bears with 75769 turkeys

While we're on the topic of how bears cheat at Salem (i say ban the scumbags!) , it seems they are immune to stun if the stun is applied during their roar animation. Furthermore, not only does the stun not land, but it does apply the stun immunity, so I just got a bear shrug off a bullrun and then be immune to the subsequent stomp. Funtiemz, also wtb more inventory for bear skins

Edit: Oh and, since .. bears ... I would like to know if i'm right in assuming that you need to be butchering with a butchering/hunting knife to get bear hearts. Last night with a knife i got about 5 hearts, this time round no luck at all.

Edit2: Nvm, just got one on the 20th bear. Quite the bad luck this time round, or good luck last time with 5/15.
