Does anyone know how much black bile is needed to place down the construction sign for a Pilgrim's Hovel?

Windmill was 7.5 a shot I seem to recall...? I'm fairly certain it's the most expensive item to place in game atm.

Really? But I have a seven in black bile and I can't place my hovel. At first it said the ground wasn't level but not it just says that I can't place it where I want it. And yes, that land I'm trying to place it on is claimed by me.

Use CTRL and Shift and move it around a bit, even the tiniest unlevel won't let you place, and make sure your standing away from it aw well before placing. Took me a good half hour to place mine D:

Why doesn't anyone just test this? -__-

Here's my test of about a minute:

Windmill: 5,6
Pilgrim's Hovel: 4
Farmer's House: 5,6
Ore Smelter: 4,2
Stamp Mill: 3
Kiln: 2
Meatsmoker: 2
Bread Oven: 2,8

The ground must be either paved, dirt (from terraforming) or grass.

Thanks guys. And yeah, it was a mixture of not having the ground paved and that it wasn't flat. Thank god for Ender's leveling tool.

Piggyback.
How large is a stamp mill? In the (wiki) picture it looks as if it's 2x4 or possibly 3x5 or something.

i know your problem was fixed but another reason it might not let you place an object is that its been covered by leaves and sometimes grass.

either have to pave or re-dig the area and just put the dirt back down to re-flatten.

Stamp Mills have a footprint of five tiles by a little over two. It is definitely larger than two tiles.
