Granite excavation

Postby Eisenkreuz » Wed Sep 10, 2014 6:09 pm

How does it work?
Random chance while digging a standard stone quarry or do I have to do something special?
Thanks.

25 boulders and no granite.
Always loved RNG in videogames.
Why come up with proper mechanics when you can add some rng *****?

EDIT: 52 boulders to get 2 granite boulders.

Just use the normal boulders as annoying clutter in between your wall layers.

It's a bonus for when you quarry normal stone for normal stone things.

If you consistently want to get granite boulders, go looking in the proper biomes, like Badlands, or Mountains. (Obviously, Mountains are a bit rarer).

I dream of one day being motivated enough to use the 1 and 5 piece lime boulders as such annoying clutter. Those baby lime boulders are just so tiny xD Can't imagine anyone will be able to grab one if you align them right.
Exactly 6.022 x 10^23 worth of Lach molecules.

If only we had some way to rig Turkey Coops into "Turkey Claymores" too. Then we would have yet more annoying defenses. Intruder triggers trap. Trap releases cloud of angry, Aggro'd Turkey in coop that hop around and gobble and attack him in an extremely annoying fashion.

Sounds like your Mines & Mountains is low.

I removed the hit box from the 1 piece boulders for that exact reason before implementation.

Good thing I've always been too lazy to try it then :D the 5ers still work okay though, pretty tiny and it's a case of whatever helps expose the attacker to more brazier fire. A bit like walking through a toddler's room, lots of toys to dodge for fear of foot damage.
