Can't launch client!

Im a new player,and when i download the salem client it says that it is unable to launch.Help me please i really want to play this.

something is going wrong while downloading the resource files for the client (3D models and such)
Perhaps something is wrong with your internet connection ? have you had issues with it before ?

Sounds to me that you got a bad download and should clear your Java cache and then redownload the client.
