Q: What is the rationale behind not being able to stack any item in the game except coins and seeds?
What are pros and cons on this matter?
I see only con. Eternal lack of space.

Part of survival aspect of this game is finding a place to store your things and the inventory management involved with this. Stackable objects would only make the game easier in ways I don't feel it should be.
