crime system

i was wondering a few things about the crime system i'm betting a lot of beginners are also wondering this so a few basic bullets

1.does a crime stay around for a set time like i kill someone does it go away after a few days
2.can anyone track crimes
3.does a scent stay in a specific location aka "crime scene"
4.is a crime set into a game object

1. yes depending on the severity of the crime scents will last longer, tresspassing 8 hours, larceny 2 days, battery a few days, murder a week roughly.
2. yes if tracking is enabled.
3.scents stay at the location of the crime.
4. no idea what you mean.

a game object meaning something you carry in your inventory

For all crimes except for trespassing (not certain about battery), they leave a scent that you can use to summon a player at their homestead so you can exact revenge on them. Each crime leaves one of these scent items and can be given away dropped etc even after the original scent vanishes from the scene. The scent item can last weeks or months after the crime to give you a chance to plan your attack on their base.

Hitting a player is not summonable, KOing them is.
