anyone know if you don't have viscera and bits if you at least get some deer hooves? I haven't got any yet and its going to take me a while to get the skill.

I'm fairly sure I got a couple deer hooves before I got viscera but you get a lot more once I got it.

A player can get up to 2 deer hooves from a single deer without viscera.

can you get them from old deer from before the patch? hehe

I've done both new and old no luck yet.. oh well.

Even with viscera I haven't gotten any of the new stuff from the rather large supply of pre-patch deer and bears I had, so either I was unlucky or you can't.

yeah so far that been my experience so far. I only got a few new deer so far and looks like I'm going to be in a storage crunch for a while or spam chests.. I liked sheds better cause I could find things easier lol.. I assume people aren't selling hooves yet?

I saw a post with hooves for sale for 30s ea. It didn't seem like a bad price to me but we will see where things balance out.

of course then I have to wait 5 days for the goods to clear customs. I can't win
