Can I take silver back from Stake claim ?

Not possible.

If you read about this somewhere: it was possible for a short while after the update which introduced claim upkeep. As of right now, however, it is not possible.

He probably means using a town to overtake it. Which would return the silver but cost you more silver than it returned to do so. Other than that tho, no way to get silver back out of claims.

If you put it in the wrong spot or have a friend who settled too close to you and you want one larger stone to overlap the whole place (for example).
